Emails to this blog

The following selection of emails was of great use building up the case against JA Wealth. Thank you to everyone who got involved!

Email 9/05/14

I was going to keep what I found out to myself, but if people are getting ripped off, I can't do it.

I hope the attachments are labeled.

Photo1: "learning" to trade somewhere else not so long ago. One of the guy's who tagged along with Joshante. And the other dude is none other than "blackwolftrader" the teacher at JA Wealth..... So much for any experience what so ever, there is no way they should be teaching people to trade. They do not have enough experience. If you follow these people you can see the dates between learning, and then "teaching" them selves. It can't be much more than 3 months.

photo 2: Joshante lazing about the office, not so long ago, at Soloman Blake. Where he "learn't" to trade.

photo 3: The JA Wealth tuition folder.

Wording looks suspiciously the same as photo 5 - stockcharts.com

The email continues:

He seems to sell his wares though minor "insta celebs" - people with 10-15k followers, they then pump the same bullshit to there followers.

http://instagram.com/imnotbait     <----- part of this 187mob, I can only presume they think they are rappers, or gangsters

Oh look at these "students", in the photo

oh wait. Here is one of their instagram accounts

wait she's getting comments from 187mob and nikobleu

http://instagram.com/nikobleu  <------ works for, erm.... guess where

linked??!!!! make up your own mind!

It stinks of a scam. They are taking a lot of money from vulnerable people (students), and teaching them to trade on a very volatile market (foreign currency) with no detailed teaching - they have no information of the people they trade with, nor the exchanges in which they trade on (Yen, Dollars, Euro etc).

On top of that they are based in very good offices to give out the aura of a respectable company. More importantly, their operations do not even correlate to private equity....

They call themselves JA Wealth CONSULTANTS yet they call themselves a private equity house.....that's like having a Ltd company but saying you're a Plc...

Private equity firms buy a stake in shit companies, fix them, improve them, turn them into profitable companies and then sell them for a profit on their original investment

I am a previous customer of the JA Wealth course. Being a broke student, I was really put off at the prospect of paying a 1000 quid to a bunch of teenagers. I felt like I was investing in my future and the risk was worth taking for large returns I could make on the foreign exchange market.

I used my student overdraft and took the max limit of 1k to pay for this course. The only reason I made that commitment is because Joshante himself told me not to worry, I will probably make that or even more back whilst they teach me how to trade. He said even if I don't know what to do he will give me signals to make profits.

Alot of customers are defending JA Wealth, and they're in denial. They don't want to admit that they have just lost 1000 quid for something they could have found out for FREE. The first day is just an introduction and some basic technical analysis, the second day is more practical on the CMC demo apps - which you can download free on the app store. I must say the main teacher Odeanie Lungs was a very informative teacher, although I question his depth of understanding about the financial markets.

The environment is becoming more unprofessional with instagram girls like Elenia (imnotbait) hanging around throwing up gang signs for instagram. All she does is provide followers for the company.

I am embarrassed about parting with my money, but I will take it on the chin. Not really bothered, increasing my depth and understanding myself through books from REPUTABLE traders. Thing is, they probably splashed my overdraft on a pair of 'red-bottoms'.

Peace anyway, I don't want to bad mouth anybody. Just my opinions here. I am not taking this further or looking to recoup the seminar fee. I don't care. Just be very careful!

Hi, just a quick message found this all very entertaining.

Had a quick chat with my CMC accounts manager and asked her if she had heard about a certain JA Wealth, and has confirmed they're trying to ban all of their (and associated) accounts for breaching their terms and conditions - she didn't specify any further.

In my opinion, I don't think they're scamming per se, just think they're taking advantage of vulnerable teenagers looking to get rich quick. Maybe if they were not so flashy and so forward in selling an unsustainable lifestyle depicting they have 'made it', the demise of their company wouldn't have come so soon.

I will leave you guys with a quick quote.
'Those who can; do, those who can't; teach'

P.S, Jermaine, when you next kiss Amber. Remember who hit it first.

They are boasting about a student who made 500 on a CMC demo account, the demo account allows you with a virtual 10,000 trading limit, so this gentleman claims to have made 500, I doubt he has 10,000 to start an investment portfolio... even if he did he made 500 return from a 10,000 investment which is 5% which isn't a bad return, but in a business where the risk means you can lose the whole 10k in a micro-second then the 5% is not worth it, also anyone knows how to scalp, as they are trading for a second, it's a bit like poker where the person that doesnt know how to play wins for a few rounds. My question is if Joshante and Co are such amazing traders why would they teach their secrets? or rent cars? or not VAT registered, all it takes is for someone to call HMRC on the basis that these transactions are not declared and are on a cash basis, on the bright side they will get free food in jail.

Image 2:
Unless I'm missing something but Regus business centeres are not for sale, having been in one last year you can ONLY RENT them.

This company was only incorporated in "17 Feb 2014" but Ja wealth courses have been running on for much longer, oh oh?

Hi,

I came across all of this JA Wealth madness from a friend of mine. Its quite comical actually, the guys have made such school boy errors in everything from their name down to the company's philosophy. I don't understand how you can be a private equity company that teaches people how to trade. Surely that makes you a school? or a training camp? If you're not aware private equity is the holy grail of finance, it focusses more on portfolio management where firms raise capital from institutions buys failing companies, turns them around and sells them off for a massive profit. Does that sound like what JA Wealth claim to do? I mean sure PE sounds fancy but it doesn't really make sense. There's such a lack of basic understand of the financial markets that this should have rung very loud alarm bells for those looking to take part. If established firms can't compete in PE JA Wealth can't dream of competing.

The spelling/grammatical errors in the 50 line soliloquy that the 'CEO' had describing his achievements should have been enough to put any sane individual off!

Lastly unless you are being taught by the industries finest, which these guys aren't, its best to teach yourself how to trade and that starts initially with becoming very familiar with the financial markets (reading the FT is not that difficult).

I am a Junior Private banker for a top US investment bank- I trade across all asset classes daily and I'll let you know right now traders live a lavish lifestyle but you'll NEVER find them posting tacky pics for instagram. They're too busy living the life and don't need to waste time convincing others!

Just some info on JA Wealths 'Marketing Executive' Shenae Remirez.. First of all, her name is Sinead Mc-something. She's very good friends with Joshante and joined the company after doing the 'course' for free. Fast forward a couple of months and she's now a marketing executive. How can she be taken seriously when she was a school drop out that worked in a hairdressers in croydon up until this year? She uses a fake name for goodness sake! (What else is fake? JA Wealth?)  Now all of a sudden, she's 'living the high life', spending students money yet still living in the slums. She talks about trading as if its her forte, but I don't even think she can spell her own name let alone trade. Same goes for that Elenia girl as well. She's had one job that lasted a few months and no qualifications. Do people honestly want to be taught by these rejects?

Everyone in that 'company' is aged 19-21. Can no one see how junior and inexperienced they are? They are living in a dream world and I for one am sick of seeing their childish antics all over social media. What respected company has an instagram page full of teenagers singing 'Fuck with me you know I got it' whilst wearing sunglasses inside their office that consists of 2 phones and a few tables and chairs? Don't get me started on that infamous Louis Vuitton bag that has been the focal point of ALL their photos either!

JA Wealth is nothing more than a youth club for the young and dumb. Thats the perfect description!

If I'm being slightly over detailed I would like to point out on the website of JA WEALTH, they quote that " Canary Wharfs Youngest CEO's", to show their lack of business knowledge, a CEO is a senior officer is one that answers to a board of directors, does JA Wealth have a board of directors in their rented offices? Also the whole "Canary Wharfs youngest CEO", so If I make a new LTD company and register it in Silicon Valley, I can say I'm the youngest CEO in Silicon valley? Shouldn't it be with a little bit of business credentials as in like "The youngest CEO in Canary Wharf to turnover 5 million" or something worthy of note?

I won't even need to talk about their lack of qualifications or lack of class or the slightest hint of etiquette and vulgar behaviour but let's talk about their Forex credentials, demo accounts? false claims to be one of the top young enterpeuners in the country? Either this country has really declined in its standards of enterpeuners of that someone might be flattering themselves. What are Joshante's business credentials? a company that has been around since 17th february 2014? that means my local corner shop should now be listed on the stock market since the owner has been there for a odd 20 years.

How amazing that a Tv channel wants to do a advert about JA Wealth....
Sadly the fine print will say different, this is a youtube channel with a combined net wealth of 11 views (I think I may have been the 12th viewer), their latest documentary is a Grime video called "Number one", well the views don't indicate that sir although I admit it's a catchy song but not Canary material, I'm not having a go at the artist because at least they are trying to do it honestly but they shouldn't have associated themselves with JA Poverty.

Image 2:
How inspiring is it to stand outside the BBC centre? If I stand outside the white house do you think they will make me president?

To be continued....

just read through the blog. it is so funny. just want to point a few things out, i can tell u a few vital facts in regards to JAWealth. one of these is that jawealth have been rejected by cmc markets who are a trading platform and cmc have threatened to prosecute them. they have also closed down some of their accounts so they are using other peoples names and accounts to trade. The FCA have also threatened to prosecute jawealth because they are breaching regulation. they have tried to scam me of money by telling me that i can make so much, but lucky for me i did not pay. a few guys who did have told me that they have made a loss and that have told me about a chatroom which doesnt even talk about trading. instead they all just act up on the group and there is hardly any respect between them. people like this deserve to be in jail for taking peoples hard earned money and giving false hope which makes the people they train get in even more debt because they do not teach properly. i hope the fca do prosecute them and send them all to jail. why do i want to be taught by someone who has just learnt themself.

This is their webpage explaining the basics of trading.

They have simply plagiarized all of that information from a respectable trading platform's website. And yes plagiarism is prosecutable by law.

Who wants to part with nearly 1000, with people who are too lazy to even create their own content for their website?

The image they use on their homepage, they're not licensed to do so!!!

Hi there, great job on the blog, you really put time and effort into exposing JA Wealth for what they really are. I knew all along, but didn't have the time and patience to be classed as a 'hater' when revealing what they're truly all about.

There is not much more I can add to what you have found, I myself was nearly dupped into this a few years back when the famous Joshante was working at Soloman Blake. Thankfully, I have a wise family member who is a genuine trader at an investment bank, who was able to see through the bullshit.

From a technical standpoint, the screenshots (that are all shared amongst them) do indicate quite large profits (on the non-demo accounts) and there is a reason for this. They place very large amounts per position - lets be honest, they have the funds from the students to do so. And if you are aware of spreadbetting, you will know it is basically like gambling. So of course if you place a large 'bet', and using Joshante's Greenwich University education (joke), it is likely once in a while they will gain a large profit which they can upload onto Instagram as 'proof'.

Look at Jermaine's twitter, he recently uploaded a screenshot claiming he made 1200 in the morning, yet look closely at the top of the screenshot and you will see an incoming message from him? This same photo was posted on Joshante's instagram where he claimed he made 1200? Are they both claiming the profits?

JA Wealth Scam Consultants need to be taken down. They have been known to ask students to lie about profits on the videos and have tried to pass off demo account profits as real profit. It's a shame so many students (or their parents) are being scammed out of 995. That's alot of money for information you can find for free on Google.

Thanks

Sorry I forgot a key bit of information.
Joshante used to be involved in AC fraud. This is where people will offer younger kids a couple of hundred pounds to hand over their bank details and card.
People like Joshante, then take out the maximum pay day loans they can and get them paid into these accounts, withdraw the money, pay the account owner a tiny cut of the fraud money, and then move onto the next victim.

I hope you can add more information to your blogspot, case against these scammers will keep getting bigger

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well then ladies and gents? Perhaps the lesson of JA Wealth is this.

Maybe all the people hating on the haters should have a good long think about who they should really be hating (think about it).

Instead of getting angry at people like us, people who are trying to expose an exploitative scam that puts kids at risk, perhaps you should start getting angry at people like Joshante. This is a guy who has pulled the wool over your eyes. He has treated you as if you were stupid, conned you into believing he was someone you should respect and treat as a role model. Whilst you have been taking to twitter to defend him from 'attack', he has been stealing your money, corrupting your dreams, and laughing at you behind your backs.
